A visit to this winery feels a little like a visit to an old one room schoolhouse circa 1830. The tiny yet adorable tasting room is so inviting and a refreshing change from many Napa tasting rooms that exude bigger is better.
The wines are as dignified and elegant as the tasting room. In addition, there is a lovely walled garden off to the side that encourages outdoor tastings on nice days.
We loved the 06 Syrah, the 07 Grenache and both cabs (06 Mt. Veeder and 07 The Guardian).
Downsides? The wines are great, however, this place could get very crowded very fast.
