This winery wins the award for hardest to pronounce and spell, but don’t let that be a deterrent. The wines are lovely and the tasting room has great ambiance.
The day we visited it was late in the afternoon and it was crowded but we still really enjoyed our visit. We tasted all reds and they were lovely and moderately priced. My favorite was the 04 Mountain Cuvee which is a Merlot based Bordeaux blend. At $24 it is very reasonable for such a great wine. We also tasted the 05 Rhinefarm Pinot Noir ($38), the 05 Cab Franc (really liked this smooth and full bodied wine) and the 05 Cabernet (liked this but preferred the Cuvee blend).
Downsides? It can get crowded so if I were to visit again I would try to go earlier in the day. Lovely wines though so I will try to go again.
