Tin Barn Vineyards is a very fun winery to visit. Located in the warehouse section of Sonoma, Tin Barn built an adorable and welcoming tasting room within the winery. They make some wonderful wines from a wide array of varietals.
The tasting list on our visit was nearly all reds (except for the Sauvignon Blanc). Highlights for me included the 07 Napa Zinfandel ($27) and the 05 Napa Cabernet Blend ($34).
Our visit was in the afternoon on a Saturday and the place was hopping! But even though it was crowded, the other patrons were very friendly and that added a great energy to our experience. Add this to your itinerary for a fun last stop in the afternoon.
Downsides? None except potential crowds but the 8th Street Wineries seem to attract fun and laid back wine lovers.
